Reports
Dashboards of your app’s numbers — made by the AI from what your app keeps.
Designing your report…
Start with a suggested reportThe AI looks at what your app keeps and designs the most useful first dashboard. It uses a little build credit, and stays a free draft until you publish it.
No reports yet.
Drafts are free. Each published report adds $10.00 a month to the app’s cost. Designing or changing a report uses build credit.

Gallery
Images and spreadsheets for your apps. Only you can see these.
Keep your logos, photos and spreadsheets in one place
The gallery needs an account, so your files stay private to you.
Only upload files you own or have permission to use.
Images you mark Use in my app can be seen by everyone who uses your app.
Don't upload other people's personal information — ID numbers, medical or financial records — unless you're allowed to.
Files you attach to a prompt are read by our AI provider to build your app.
Every file is checked and cleaned when it arrives. You can delete your files at any time.

What we accept. JPG, PNG and WebP images, and Excel (.xlsx) or CSV spreadsheets, up to 10 MB each. We don't accept SVG, PDF, or spreadsheets with macros or embedded objects.
What we do with images. We redraw every image from scratch before storing it. This removes anything hidden inside the file, including the location a photo was taken. Large images are scaled down.
Who can see your files. Only you, while they sit in your gallery. An image marked Use in my app becomes part of that app when it's built, so anyone who opens the app can see it. Images marked Just for reference and spreadsheets are never published.
AI processing. When you attach a file to a prompt, it is sent to the AI service we use to build your app, for that purpose only.
Your responsibility. You confirm you have the right to use each file you upload, and that sharing it with us doesn't break any law or agreement. If a spreadsheet contains personal information about other people, you're responsible for having their permission to use it.
Deleting. Deleting a file removes it from your gallery and our storage straight away. Apps you've already published keep the copy they were built with until you rebuild them.
Version 2026-09-v1. We record when you agreed, and from which IP address.
How should we use this image?
You can change this later in the gallery.

New accounts
New accounts — the fine print
Passwords
However short you allow, an account stops answering for
15 minutes after
5 wrong tries. That, rather than the
rules above, is what stops somebody working through the possibilities.

Screens
Each screen decides for itself whether its
records need an account. This is what really keeps them private — a sign-in screen in
front of an open screen does not, because the records can be fetched without ever
opening the app. Changes take effect at once and cost no build credit.
Test data
Web services
An app can’t call an outside API directly — everything in an app’s
code is downloaded by whoever installs it, so a key written there is a key given to every
user. Save the address and the key here instead. The app then asks for the service
by name and the request is made from our server, so the key never reaches a phone.
No services yet.
Add a web service
Save the address once. The app asks for it by name and never sees the key.
Put {blanks} wherever the app supplies a value —
{code}, {id}, whatever you like. Start with
backend: for this app’s own backend (we already know its address), or a full
https:// address for anything else. Plain http is refused, because the key
would travel with it.
Stored encrypted. It is never shown again and never
sent back to a browser — to change it, paste a new one.
What the app will use
const result = await App.service.call('salons', { code: entered });
Paste that into your prompt, or just tell the builder
“call the salons service with the code the person entered and show the results”.
Email this report
The report’s numbers go out by email, with a button to open the live report. Charts stay on the report itself — an email can’t draw them.
People in your team
People outside your team get a link that opens the report without signing in. Stop it any time under Share.
A link opens this report in a browser with no sign-in — the figures only, never the app or its data. Give each person their own link so you can stop it later.
AI in this app
Lets your app use AI — for example to read a document from a photo, or to recognise products in a picture. The app only ever runs the AI jobs it was built with.
AI use is charged on top of the monthly licence fee.
When the limit is reached, AI pauses until the 1st of next month — everything else in the app keeps working. You’ll see a warning here at 80%. Each person can use AI up to 100 times a day.
Only the account owner can switch AI on or off and change the limit — it’s billed to their card.
Testing AI in the studio’s phone preview uses build credit instead, like building the app.
Are you sure?
Top up your build credit
Test mode — no real money moves and no card is charged.
Credit is bought in US dollars and charged to your card in rand.
Paying by card isn’t available just now. Send us a note and we’ll add the credit
to your account the same day.
These go on every invoice. You only need to do this once — change them any time.

New report
Describe what you want to see. The AI picks the numbers, charts and filters from your app’s data — never the records themselves.
Uses a little build credit. It’s a free draft until you publish it.

Import people from Excel
Your sheet needs a heading row. We look for Name, Email, Mobile and Role — a column called “Mobile number (work)” is still the mobile number, so you don’t have to rename anything. Everyone needs a name, and an email or a mobile number.
Saved from Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets as an Excel Workbook (.xlsx). Up to 2 MB.
